FIFA have released the new rankings for September 2015. South American giants and Copa America runner-up Argentina remains at the top of the chart. Surprisingly Wales have been placed over England in the rankings first time in the history of the game. India moves ahead by one place and reached 155th position.
Chris Coleman’s Wales who had move to the top 10 first time in their history in the last rankings have now gone above England which is also a history. Wales are in sublime form and will surely qualify for the Euro 2016 with ease.
Argentina holds their top seeding with 1442 points. Belgium ranked just behind them followed by World Cup winners Germany. Defending Euro champions Spain is once again placed out of 10, they are in the 11th position.
The Euro qualifiers start from today, 3rd September. Wales take on Cyprus today.

India who has just played a single international match since the last rankings has improved their rankings by one place and moved up to 155th position. Most recently they faced neighbours Nepal and drew 0-0 at home. India takes on Iran in the AFC World Cup qualifiers group stage game on 5th September.
