Jurgen Klopp is known for his heavy metal gegenpressing football which will take time to be deployed on the current set of Liverpool footballers.
He plays in a narrow 4-2-3-1 formation where the 3 behind the striker interchange their positions frequently and presses the ball well. Two fullbacks will go bombarding forward which will not be a problem for the two Liverpool full backs who are brilliant attacking wise.
But on a whole, most of the Liverpool players lack quality when compared to the likes of player Klopp had at Signal Iduna Park. Although, the likes of Mario Gotze, Robert Lewandowski, Nuri Sahin, Shinji Kagawa etc were nurtured by Klopp himself to world class players and he can replicate the same at Anfield but it will take time.
But at a club like Liverpool, where the pressure is much more and the fans are starving for a trophy, time is not on his side. The Kopites are not patient and Klopp might have to do some early business to make Liverpool a Klopp’s team from Rodgers’ team.
