Fixture list of ICC 2016 in the US announced

The US has not been a football loving country over the years and over the years there have been plenty of events in the country to increase the reach of the sport within the country.

As a part of this fight, eight teams will travel to the states this summer to participate in the International Champions Cup 2016 to be held in North America.

The ICC tournament began in 2013 and will enter its 4th year this campaign. It is played over China, Australia and Europe with up to 17 teams taking part in these competitions.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Bayern Munich are the teams from Europe who will travel to the US for this competition while Leicester City, Liverpool and Chelsea are the clubs from England who will make the trip.

Celtic and Barcelona are the two other clubs that are a part of this North American wing of the competitions but both the clubs are not scheduled to leave Europe and play most of the games in the UK.

The competition is set to start in North America from July 23rd and will run through late August all over Europe.

The schedule was released earlier today at a press conference in New York and with the quality of the teams involved, there are a lot of sizzling fixtures to look forward to.
