Recently it was confirmed that former Tottenham, Manchester City and Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor had joined the Eagles on a loan deal. The move which was completed on Tuesday saw the Togo international move to his club’s Premier League rivals Crystal Palace for a short period of time. However, the attacker has now confessed that he will have to do some research about his new club, about which he doesn’t really have much clue.

Adebayor admitted that he knows nothing about Palace and will have to Google them, in order to learn more about them. The 31-year-old superstar is confident that he will end the club’s goal drought after being declared an outcast by Spurs.

In an interview with the Eagles’ own official website, he revealed that he was forced to use the internet to research and learn more about them. He stated, “I don’t know much about the club but it’s better to learn, so I’ll be going on Google
and finding out more about them.”

“Whatever the team want to achieve I will follow them. I want to help them win games and that’s what I’m here for.”

“They’re not far from the top five and that’ll be difficult to reach as there are a lot of big games to play, but let’s get out there, have fun and enjoy ourselves.”

The ex-Real Madrid man has been sidelined since last May and has not been playing any competitive football. He will now join the first team under manager Alan Pardew and can hopefully make a difference in their fourth round FA Cup tie against Stoke on Saturday.
