Former Chelsea star Juliano Belletti has advised Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato to pick Arsenal over his rumored next club Chelsea.

According to ESPN Brasil, Pato is tipped to join Chelsea in next couple of days, however, Belletti believes Pato will be more suited to either Spanish La Liga or Arsenal among the Premier League clubs.

Belletti believes, Arsenal play the most beautiful football among English teams and Pato has ample qualities to succeed in that playing style.

Speaking in an interview, Belletti said: ‘I think he has a lot to offer Spanish football. The quality he has and the way he plays is more compatible with Spain.

‘In England, I no longer know. Maybe Arsenal, since Wenger always gambles on nice football and individual talent.’

Whether this piece of advice would prompt Wenger to make a move for Pato, it is yet to be seen but it could indeed turn player’s head.

Pato will also be pegged back after Guus Hiddink confirmed that Blues are not in for a striker and certainly not someone like Pato as the club are looking for permanent solution than short-term fix.
