Gerard Pique Furious Over English Media For Publishing Fake News

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has expressed his frustration over the recent fake news regarding over speeding that has popped up in the news.
The former Manchester United was reported to have crossed the speeding limit in Barcelona and was fined by Spanish police. Reports also further suggested that he could be paying a massive fine for his reckless driving and also six points on his driving.
Photos on Friday has shown the 30-year old speaking to police from his car and the English media were the first to report the fake news. The Barca defender has single out Mirror in his tweets as he was furious with the news that was floating around across the world.
He made numerous tweets on the news and has expressed his frustration and also his current stand on the issue as he promised to create a new media outlet for the benefit of professional footballers for the benefit of footballers.
His first tweet said: “A paparazzi makes a photo of me talking to the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan police).”

The Spaniard has returned to team training as Barcelona are set to play against Eibar on Sunday in their final La Liga game of the season. The Catalans currently are three points behind their arch rivals Real Madrid and still has a chance to win the league title if Real Madrid loses on the final day against Malaga.
The Blaugrana are also set to play in Copa del Rey later this month as they eye the coveted trophy in a below par season for them. It remains to be seen how Pique with go on with the fake news spreading media in the coming days.
