The North London club is going through a miserable time, currently. Injuries are increasing by day at the Emirates. With almost every first team player being added on the injury list in last 3 days, the hopes of Arsenal winning the title now looks as good as over. Recently, reports confirmed that Alexis Sanchez, the star striker and the heart of the team, has been down with an injury. The player has been given rest until January to recover. The blame for Alexis’ injury goes to Wenger, says the media. Also, Santi Cazorla will be sidelined for a minimum of 3 months after injuring his knee ligaments. This keeps the Spaniard out of the squad until March. In such a disastrous state, Arsenal boss Wenger is looking out for potential replacements.

According to reports in Spain, Wenger is targeting the Real Madrid duo – Isco and Jese to replace his two injured key players. As per Fichajes, the Gunners aim to sign the two Madrid players in the next window.

Spanish media are claiming that the Gunners are favourites to sign Isco, with a £33.8million move reportedly on the cards. Meanwhile, Arsenal are believed to be eyeing a £21.1m move for Jese. Jese has grown frustrated with a lack of game-time at the Bernabeu.

This approximately adds up to a £50 million bid for the two Real Madrid players. The amount is massive and it seems Wenger is in a mood to splurge this time, unlike the July transfer window. The fans will be delighted to see the manager do some good business in the January window.
