Antonio Lopez Habas, the Spanish coach of Atletico De Kolkata is little worried about the uneven bounce at Balewari Stadium in Pune where the first semifinal of the ISL has been shifted from Chennai due to devastating flood in the city. Habas had a closed door meeting with his footballers after the team’s training on Tuesday evening where had reportedly advised his players to try to play with ground passes. He had reportedly said to his footballers, “The bounce at the Balewari Stadium is not even. So, you will be getting awkward bounce and it will put you in deep trouble. So, try to play with ground passes mostly.” ATK does not have players who are in the injury list.
Still, Habas is reportedly planning to bring Elder Poschiga in the first eleven in the semifinal. Actually he wants to provide support for his main striker Ian Hume who has already struck 10 goals in the League while Stephen Mendoza of Chennayin FC is the top scorer with 11 goals. However, Chennaiyin FC coach Marco Materazzi is also upset with the lack of proper arrangement at the team hotel provided by the organizers. The Italian coach of Chennai team is also peeved at the organizers due to the change of venue for the semifinal match. It has been learnt that Atletico De Kolkata forced the League organizers to shift the venue from Chennai to Pune for the semifinal.
