Manchester plot shock summer transfer for Liverpool target

  • Inter Milan’s expereinced goal keeper Samir Handanovic’s agent Federico Postellero has admitted that his agent will leave Inter Milan in the summer. Following this astonishing claim, Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool have been put on red alert.

Handanovic is a regular feature in Inter Milan’s squad this season making 27 appearances, but he does not feel his spot to be fully secured since the arrival of new manager Roberto Mancini. Handanovic had talks with AS Roma last month but the transfer did not work out for the Slovenian International Goal Keeper.

Handanovic’s agent Postellero has also admitted that Handanovic’s primary aim is to stay in Italy, but the news of him leaving Inter Milan will prompt United and Liverpool to act swiftly in trying to puruse the experienced Goal Keeper to come to England.

Postellero said: “For now we are not talking about it, as he has a contract until June 2016,” agent Federico Pastorello told Tuttosport.

“There were three very soft meetings with the Nerazzurri directors. What does Handanovic want to do? Well, he certainly loves Italy…”

Manchester United and Liverpool are trying to address their Goal Keeping issues. De Gea has not signed a new contract with United and a 50 Million summer bid from Real Madrid is looming large. Liverpool are struggling to put their faith on Simon Mignolet, whose form has been too inconsistent for Brendan Rodger’s liking.

It will be seen in the summer, if Handanovic decides to quit San Siro in favor of a different team and if he does then will United and Liverpool be able to able to convince the 30-year old Goal Keeper to make a move in the Barclays Premier League?
