Eden Hazard has failed to replicate the inexplicable charisma he delivered last season, which helped the club win the Premier league. This also propelled the former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to state that the Belgian is even better than Cristiano Ronaldo. But the current season has been a sorry season for Hazard as he has failed to net even once in the Premier league despite making 23 appearances for the club.
But still, several European giants are tracking the 25-year-old but now it is reported by The Daily Telegraph that the player will leave Stamford Bridge only if it is Real Madrid on the other end of the move.
Earlier, the player himself stated that a move to Paris Saint-Germain is not completely improbable.
“It is hard to say no to PSG, as with all the teams capable of winning the Champions League,” said Hazard in an interview with La parisien. “Now PSG are part of this category. And, for me, winning the Champions League is the main objective. But for now, I do not dwell on it.”
It is widely known that Eden Hazard is a huge admirer of Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, and as an aftermath, it is probable for the Chelsea attacker to snub PSG and join his idol in Santiago Bernabeu.
But the move will not materialise as easy, as the Spanish giants have been slashed with a transfer ban, which means they will be restricted from doing any transfer activities on the coming summer and winter transfer windows.
Chelsea will be reluctant to sell their star-man, despite his dip in form. It all depends on whether Real Madrid are still attracted to Eden Hazard after one-and-a-half-years when their transfer ban will be uplifted.
