Bayern Munich star winger Franck Ribery thinks that Hazard would suit Bayern ahead of speculated Kevin de Bruyne. Latest rumours suggested that Bayern are interested in buying de Bruyne as a potential replacement to Ribery and Robben in the coming seasons. But Ribery says Hazard would be a logical choice.
Ribery and Robben have their deals till 2017 at Bayen and both the wingers are 31 now. Bayern might need to see a potential replacement for these wingers at least in 2017 as they are still performing beyond expectations.
“Believe me, in this world, you won’t find players like me or Arjen that easily, with all due respect,” Ribery told Sport Bild. “Of course, the club needs to contemplate about what happens once we have left, but Arjen and I are not done yet.”
Speaking about de Bruyne he said, “He’s a super player, but when I see him I note that he’s different to Arjen and me.
“He’s not a player who takes the ball and starts dribbling, and likes to have the opponent in front of him. De Bruyne’s super when he has the space on the counter attack, but at Bayern you usually only have three, four metres — no huge spaces. But he is a good player, and he is still young. He can still learn.”
But the Former French International thinks Hazard will be an apt solution for Bayern in the future.
“He attacks all of the time. He loves to run at his opponent. But he plays at Chelsea. This could be very expensive for Bayern.”
Bayern’s Financial director have recently said that they are ready to buy a player for 100 million Euros if he deserves it despite their excellent transfer market management.
