Earlier in the day, it was confirmed that Real Madrid have signed Espanyol’s impressive goal keeper Kiko Casilla for a reported fee of £6million. Manchester United fans went ecstatic as it showed a very little chance of holding on to their coveted asset David De Gea.
However, it has now been confirmed by Sky Sports that Manchester United have given up all hopes in De Gea signing a new contract and are willing to accept the keeper walking away on a free transfer next season.
According to key Manchester United sources, Ian Ladyman and Jamie Jackson, Real Madrid are unwilling to meet the £32.5million asking fee by the Red Devils and will wait for the 24-year old goal keeper having signed Casilla from Marseille.
Despite these astronomical claims, United have left Real Madrid with one chance of allowing Sergio Ramos to join Old Trafford and it return they will sell De Gea to them.
You might be thinking that, I am not reporting anything new, however, this has now become an official word while previously it was all a projection by both sets of fans.
Ian ladyman confirmed that United want Ramos to be part of any offer they make for De Gea, or do not come with an offer at all. Ladyman also confirmed that van Gaal is only interested in signing Ramos from Real Madrid and no one else.
