According to latest reports from Italy, Inter Milan are keen to sign Manchester United central defender Daley Blind.
The 26-year old have joined the Red Devils post-2014 world cup and was an integral part of Louis van Gaal plans during the past two seasons.
However, new manager Jose Mourinho is not planning big around the defender as the Dutch international is not in the centre of his plans.
According to Milan-based Mediaset Premium, former Ajax boss De Boer who has taken over at Inter is keen to add more quality to both midfield and defense going into the new season.
The duo have worked previously at Ajax and de Boer is keen for a reunion with the versatile player. Daley Blind can play as a centre back, left back and also a holding midfielder which could be an asset for Inter Milan.
Jose Mourinho is keen to offload some of the players after the club went for a crazy summer spree to get their targets. The 53-year old is keen to trim his squad to as little as 20 outfield players going into the new season.
de Boer is ready to offer £17 million for the Dutch international but Manchester United could ask for a higher price as they want to balance their books.
