It was reported earlier that Kevin De Bruyne had made up his mind to leave Wolfsburg and was all set to join the Premier League giants. A medical was imminent this week. The current images now finally confirm the news that the deal will be happening before the transfer deadline day. Manchester City are believed to have agreed to pay a transfer fee of 54 million pounds and 4 million pounds add-ons. Though, a deal is yet to be finalised, but it is safe to apprehend that Kevin De Bruyne will wear the sky blue jersey in this season and play in the Premier League.

Kevin De Bruyne had previously played in the Premier League when he was at London during 2012 playing for Chelsea FC. He was young at that time and was an unproven talent. Thus, he never got regular first team appearances under Jose Mourinho. He was sold to Wolfsburg in the same season for a negligible fee of £18 million.

De Bruyne performed brilliantly at the Wolfsburg and was instrumental in team’s outfit. The Belgian’s performance inspired the club to win the DFB Pokal last season and finished runner-up in the league. Wolfsburg also defeated Bayern in this season’s German Super Cup to bag the title.

Kevin De Bruyne’s arrival at the Etihad would be a huge boost for Manchester City who have already made several big signings.
