Amid all the positive news surrounding Manchester United if there is one thing is troubling the United fans, it’s the contract situation of their star goalkeeper David De Gea.

In their latest efforts to stop the Spaniard from joining Real Madrid in the summer, United have offered the keeper an insane offer of close to £200,000-a-week to pen down his contract extension with the club.

Earlier in the week, Manchester United manager had claimed that, it is now out of United’s hands to force the decision concerning De Gea’s stay at the club. Van Gaal stated that no amount of money will persuade De Gea to stay at United, if his heart is set on a move away from the club.

Van Gaal declared that the player is the boss these days and not the club where the player dictates when and where he wants to play his football.

De Gea has decided to keep quiet about the whole incident while every media in the world is linking him with a move away from Manchester United. The Old Trafford outfit have made their one last attempt in trying to lure De Gea for a stay with United by offering him an insane contract offer worth alomost £200,000-a-week.

If De Gea decides to accept the United offer then it will make him the highest paid Goal keeper of all time and perhaps this figure will not be broken anytime soon by any other goalkeeper.
