The 20-year-old Belgian, Adnan Januzaj could be fancying a move back to Old Trafford, as per sources. United gaffer Louis van Gaal is considering calling back the youngster back at United by cutting short his year-long loan deal. This U-turn could happen in the month of January.
Louis van Gaal loaned Adnan to Borussia Dortmund in the transfer window, this came out as shock to many fans. However, the boss had his own reasons behind the move claiming that Januzaj was just a surplus to his requirements at the English club. Even before he could prove himself enough this season with the Red Devils, he loaned on a year-long deal to Germany.
Moving to Germany could fix his problems, we all thought, but things never went his way. At BVB too, he wasn’t often given first team appearances. Often placed on the bench, Adnan has faced a frustrating time with the German club. Januzaj expected he could gain some worthy experience at Dortmund, but the lad only started twice for the team.
After being left out for the senior Belgium squad, Adnan became furious and even rejected to play for the U21 team. Finding a place for himself in the Euro 2016 now seems to be fading for Adnan and being played as a substitute is not helping him in any way, either.
Seeing the boss’ interest in bringing back Januzaj, it seems that United would succeed in convincing the German club for the move.
This will also give Adnan a chance to prove himself again and you never know he could possibly help United in fairing well!
