It was a satisfactory night for the Liverpool fans as the Reds secured a victory against Rubin Kazan F.C in the Europa League. A match which could have witnessed a goal galore from the Merseyside team eventually ended up with a bitter sweet score-line. The Reds managed to clinch just one goal, which seemed fairly disappointing.

However, as for the player, Jordon Ibe was useful enough for his side as he succeeded in writing his name on the goal scorers. The first half was a dull display of football as both the sides failed to convert the chances into goals. The score at half time was nil all due to the wasteful finishing.

The latter half changed the game as Jordon Ibe scored a goal in just seven minutes into the second half. Driving into the box, Ibe made it 1-0 to LFC as he slotted the ball home with his right foot. His carefully weighted shot slid past the keeper as Kazan went trailing.

The goal boosted confidence for the Reds, at the same time it alerted the hosts to buck up their performance. However, Kazan failed to carve out chances and eventually slipped the victory out of their hands.

Thanks to Ibe’s goal, the Reds ended with a win. But one would have fancied seeing more goals from Liverpool as it was rather an easy fixture for the travelling team who could have scored hatful of goals.
