Huge boost for Manchester City as one of their prime targets this season Kevin De Bruyne is on his way to sign for the club in the next 48 hours. According to German media Kicker, the Belgian midfielder is not happy with his club Wolfsburg. De Bruyne apparently feels that the club have not made many signings this season to challenge for titles.

Kevin De Bruyne who had previously played in the Premier League for Chelsea FC has been heavily linked Manchester City this summer. City who are on a spending spree this summer is looking forward to strengthening their squad. They have already bought Raheem Sterling from Liverpool earlier this season for £49 million and Nicolas Otamendi for £34 million. It is believed that Manuel Pellegrini’s side are considering a bid somewhere around £64 million for the highly rated Belgian.

Kevin De Bruyne is a key member of the Wolfsburg side who had finished second last season in the Bundesliga and had won the DFB Pokal. They have begun their new season on a high defeating giants Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup.

Initially, Wolfsburg officials had claimed that they will not sell their star player to any team this season. De Bruyne’s agent had also clarified that the player has no plans of asking the club for a transfer request.

But now as the German media speculates, an unhappy Kevin De Bruyne is likely to move out of Germany and join Manchester City in the next 48 hours.
