Manchester United’s Spanish goal keeper David de Gea’s arrival to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu is losing its momentum day by day as Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been given the jersey number 1, the number that is often used by the first choice goalkeepers off a club. Real Madrid revealed the jersey numbers of all the players for the 2015-16 season while the team is going through a pre-season in Melbourne, Australia where they lost the first match against AS Roma on Saturday.

Apart from Navas, the players who have changed their jersey number from last season includes defender Nacho Fernandez and midfielder Isco. Nacho has taken the number 6, which was vacant after the exit of German International Sami Khedira while Isco has taken the jersey number 22, previously used by Argentine winger Angel Di Maria. With this, Isco’s 23 is taken by Brazilian right-back Danilo, who was signed from FC Porto this season.
