Since his arrival to Anfield on Thursday, new Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp have been tipped to raid his former club Borussia Dortmund attempting to hijack his favourite players but Klopp vehemently denied all the speculations saying that it’s not at all his intention to bring in Dortmund players.
The 48-year-old insists his present focus is on the batch of players he already has in Anfield. He told Liverpoolecho, “I have no intention whatsoever to lure Dortmund’s stars to Liverpool”
“I am not interested in how much money I will be allowed to spend in January. It’s only October and I don’t even know how many games there are left until winter. I hope we have plenty of games left and we will be taking a look at our own players first.”
Centre-back Mats Hummels, midfielder Gundogan, winger Marco Reus all are quite exciting prospect who will perfectly fit in this Liverpool side, but the German already mentioned his primary focus is to make the team cohesively calm that was not seen during Rodgers end of days.
In next two months Southampton, Chelsea and Manchester City are the opponents waiting for the new Liverpool manager and that looks quite challenging before he can start his planning about the January transfer window.
