Klopp still keen on Moreno replacement; might still make a move for two of his top transfer targets

After a thrilling start to their new Premier League campaign, Liverpool managed to showcase their inconsistencies in their loss to Burnley just a week later.

However, they bounced back in the League Cup against Burton in fine fashion and will be hoping to shrug off whatever went wrong at Turf Moor a week ago.

There were plenty of fans calling for additions in the transfer market after the loss to Burnley and it looks like the manager has finally obliged to those cries.

Recent reports have suggested that Liverpool are once again back in for two of their top transfer targets to try and lure them to Anfield before the deadline day.

Jurgen Klopp has added a number of players to his squad but his squad is still vulnerable in two areas; the defensive midfield area that hardly has a suitable player and the left-back position with only one recognized but heavily criticized player in the squad.

The manager has been linked with a number of targets for these two positions since the start of the transfer window but two names that were reportedly on the top of the priority list were Borussia Monchengladbach’s Mahmoud Dahoud and FC Koln’s Jonas Hector.

The Dahoud rumors have died after it was revealed that he will not be moving away from Germany but Jonas Hector seems to be a completely different story.

The 26-year old German left-back was impressive in the EUROs recently and was touted to be the major signing that Liverpool needed to take that extra step to glory.

However, the Bundesliga outfit managed to get him to sign a new contract to fend away interests from potential suitors while also increasing his asking price.

Chelsea reportedly were ready to trigger his release clause but with Koln adamant that he is not available it looked like both English clubs  would miss out on their targets.

However, with the deadline day approaching, it is now reported that Klopp is making a last-gasp effort to lure Hector to Liverpool this summer.

According to recent reports, Jurgen Klopp is still interested in getting the German international or PSV Eindhoven’s Jetro Williems for a move before the deadline day.

It will be interesting to see how Klopp can lure his targets in this last week frenzy but if he is able to snatch Jonas Hector yet, it will be one of the most successful transfer window’s for Liverpool in some time.

Do you think Liverpool can get Jonas Hector or Jetro Willems this summer?
