It has been confirmed now by reports in the Spanish media that La Liga giants Real Madrid will offer Premier League outfit Arsenal the chance to sign their star striker Karim Benzema, in the upcoming transfer window. According to El Confidencial, it has now been revealed that the Bernabeu based side might consider offloading the 27 year old France international due to his ongoing court case which has hurt their reputation. Recently there were claims of a potential blackmailing case with regards to his team-mate from the French national side, Mathieu Valbuena, which had emerged all over the news.

Manager Arsene Wenger was also quite keen on bringing him to the Emirates in the summer transfer window once again after previous attempts, though a move failed to materialize back then as his compatriot was happy in Spain.

However, with the Spanish outfit now looking to offload him, things could be much different this time around and a deal could actually go through if the north London side are persistent in the attempts.

The French manager has been keen on strengthening his squad with the hope of winning some major titles soon and with the recent injury crisis that has hit his squad, it would seem only advisable that Wenger gets a reputed striker as well in the new year.

The Gunners have some really important games coming up, after a decent start to the current campaign and the former Lyon man would surely give their squad a major boost, if the deal does indeed go through.
