23 year old Tottenham Hotspur winger is making news in the transfer business, lately. The attacking midfielder who joined the Spurs in 2013 from Roma, has been linked with a return back to his former club, rumours claim. Along with Roma, Serie A giants Juventus are also in the race to sign the Argentine. Lamela has made 84 appearances for Tottenham until now and has had 4 goals toh his name. The 22-year-old moved to White Hart Lane from the Stadio Olimpico for £30million in 2013.
“I think there hasn’t been interest and I’ve always thought of Tottenham,” he told Fox Sport. “Here they make me feel important.
“For the moment a move is difficult, but maybe in the future why not? Also to Roma.”
Lamela possesses a pass success rate of nearly 82% in the Europa and Premier League games. His strengths include – through balls, dribbling, key passes, crossing and passing. His defensive contribution is also very effective to the team. His weaknesses are aerial duels and finishing skills. Describing Lamel’s style of play, one sees him doing a lot of layoffs. He loves to dribble the ball and often cuts the ball inside. Lamela prefers playing short balls and loves to tackle. Due to this he is also gets fouled.
