Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has confidently stated that Angel Di Maria’s arrival at the club is now just a matter of time. Angel Di Maria was heavily linked with the Ligue 1 champions this season after he became out of favour at Old Trafford.

The specualtions triggered after Di Maria failed to turn up for United’s pre-season at USA on 25th July. The player had cited reasons that he had ‘missed flight’.

Speaking to media about Di Maria, Blanc said: “Regarding Angel Di Maria, the case is close to being completed,” the PSG coach said at a media conference on Monday. I am quite positive on this case.”

Laurent Blanc further said that Di Maria is not the only transaction they will do this summer. He has plans to rebuild the side and make it look better. Accordingly he will release or buy players in this transfer window. PSG got the license to spend after FFP retreated the suspension they had imposed on the French club.

He added: “We expect departures also in our group,” he added. “We want to regenerate the group.”

Manchester United have bought 5 major players this summer which inlcudes Bastian Schweinsteiger, Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian and Sergio Romero. The midfield inlcusions of Louis van Gaal had indicated that Di Maria will lose his place in the starting lineup.

He had terrible debut season at Old Trafford last summer, as he remained injured for most of the season and also was out of form. Angel Di Maria’s move will likely happen in the coming few days.
