The reverse fixture which ended in a one nil defeat for Leicester did not go down well for Leicester fans as they largely controlled the game and were missing their two star players, Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez. This time around, they will be looking for blood as Liverpool are at their inconsistent best and have either been scoring a lot, only to concede a lot too or they have been shutting down the opposition, only to not score themselves. With Firmino scoring goals for fun, he will be a sure shot inclusion into the squad and Leicester will have to do well to keep him quiet, especially against the crosses as the Brazilian has been showing tremendous movement and impressive finishing. Along with Coutinho and Lallana, marking Firmino would be no easy task as these sprightly players would look to make the most of every inch afforded to them.
It might turn out to be a match in which the first goal matters the most as Leicester and Liverpool both only look to really hurt on the counter and don’t really have much propensity to carve out the opposition in possession. The match will be an important one for the fans on Arsenal, Manchester City as well as United because of the bearing it will have on the Champions League places. Chelsea too might be looking up on them in the hopes that points are dropped.
