The UEFA Champions League 2015/16 has reached its business end as only eight teams around Europe have finally survived who will fight it out in the last eight battles.

England has a sole representative in Manchester City, Spain had three showcasing their muscle power in Europe. Real Madrid, Atletico and defending champions Barcelona have qualified for the last eight.

In a surprising manner, Wolfsburg will be accompanying Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals. Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain are the other two teams.

Road to Quarter-finals:

Barcelona defeated Arsenal in the round of 16 stage with a 5-1 aggregate. They were the group champions.

Real Madrid defeated AS Roma 4-0 on aggregate to move forward. They too were group champions.

PSG defeated Chelsea 4-2 on aggregate. They were in Real Madrid’s group and finished second.

Bayern Munich defeated Juventus 4-2 on aggregate. They finished group champions ahead of Arsenal.

Manchester City defeated Dynamo Kiev 3-1 on aggregate. They were group champions ahead of Juventus.

Atletico Madrid defeated PSV Eindhoven on penalties after finishing both legs on 0-0.

Wolfsburg defeated Gent 4-2 on aggregate.

Benfica defeated Zenit 3-1 on aggregate.
