The UEFA Europa League draw is underway and only eight teams have survived as the competition has reached the quarter-final stage.

Liverpool is the lone survivor in the competition from England. They knocked out arch-rivals Manchester United yesterday to progress further. Another English team Tottenham Hotspur who are also second in the Premier League are one of the major contenders. Spurs were humiliated by German powerhouse Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16 stage and thus knocked out of the tournament.

Just like the elite tournament Champions League, there are three teams from Spain again in the Europa League showing just how good these Spaniards are in Europe. Sevilla, Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao have qualified.

The other teams are Sporting Lisbon, Sparta Prague and Waxtap.

Braga v Shakhtar

Villarreal v Sparta Praha

Athletic Club v Sevilla

Borussia Dortmund vs Liverpool
