According to Liverpool Echo, The Reds have shun interest from Arsenal, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund to sign the highly rated central defender.

As per initial reports, Liverpool have agreed a £3.5million fee with Charlton Athletic and few add ons depending upon the future development of Joe Gomez.

Initially, Gomez is tipped to be sent out on loan in his first couple of seasons at Anfield to gain the vital Premier League experience. Premier League new boys Bournemouth, Norwich and Watford would be keenly following Gomez’s availability and would like to add Gomez to their squad.

Having signed Milner, Ings and Bogdan, Liverpool are very close to announce the signing Joe Gomez. An official announcement is expected later this week.
