Liverpool’s bid for Moreno replacement rejected; club wants just £2m more to sell

It has been a mixed week at Anfield with the team managing to lose to a newly promoted side just 3 days before slaying Burton Albion, a football league side in the League Cup on Tuesday.
The manager spoke about the changes he wants to make to the squad ahead of the season and that he may still be moving into the transfer window for additions before the deadline day.
And one such deal that Liverpool are interested in is Porto’s Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi.
Liverpool have a problem at left-back with first choice Alberto Moreno not impressing enough to warrant a place in the starting XI while James Milner, though a decent player, is not what Liverpool want in that position.
This has seen the manager look into the market and make a move for the Dutch international. It was revealed that Liverpool made an official bid of £4.3 in a hope to land their man.
However, it is now understood that Martins Indi is valued a bit higher than that price and that the bid was rejected.
Liverpool are now reportedly asked pay around the £6m mark to land their man this summer.
The 24-year old is a strong defender who plays as a center back for Porto but he is a versatile defender who can play on either flanks at the back and is expected to replace Moreno in the starting XI if he makes the move.
He has loads of experience for his age in Europe and also with the country and is easily a better option than the Spaniard or even Milner at a left-back position.
He will add the mettle to the Liverpool defense that has been missing for years now and can be the man that helps Liverpool take a leap this summer.
At his price, he is a steal, but reports have suggested that Turkish outfit Besiktas are also interested on his signature and are ready to meet the £6 million valuation of the player.
It is to be seen where Martins Indi ends up come the end of the transfer window. Should Liverpool move for him this summer?
