Divock Origi looks to be the answer to Liverpool’s striking woes this season. As per the reports from Liverpool Echo, Liverpool are planning to end Orgi’s loan speel with Lille and are ready to being him back to Anfield in January itself. Liverpool will have to pay a fee of £3 Million to Lille if they want to bring Origi back to Anfield.

Liverpool signed Ricky Lambart and Mario Balotelli after Luis Suarez left in the summer for his move to Barcelona. Brendan Rodgers could not have dreamt of seeing his first choice striker Danniel Sturridge sit on the sidelines due to a long-term injury and his two new signings fail to make any impact on Liverpool’s play.

These sets of events have forced Brendan Rodger’s hands to call in Origi, who was signed in the summer for a fee of £10 Million in the summer. Origi, 19 was sent to Lille to continue his progress and return to Liverpool next season ready to start. As things now stand, Sturridge’s return date is still unsure and lack of goals from Balotelli or Lambert leaves Rodgers no option but to bring Origi back from his loan spell with Lille.

Liverpool hve been linked with several strikers around Europe. Karim Benzema (£50 Million), Edinson Cavani (£40 Million) and Gonzalo Higuain (£30 Million) have been the striking options Liverpool are looking but all of them will be available in the summer. Liverpool, however, need to assess their options for teh remainder of the current Premier League campaign.

Divock Origi has had an average start to the season with Lille, scoring just 3 goals in 16 games but still Brendan Rodgers thinks Origi is the right man to lead Liverpool in to Champions League places for next season. Liverpool bought Origi for a £10 Million fee and will need to pay an extra £3 Million to bring him back from his loan spell with Lille.
