Jurgen Klopp will have had a tense Christmas this year as his team will play the team at the top of the table in the Boxing Day fixture in the Barclays Premier League. Liverpool are winless in 4 games in all competition and will need some good results quickly but will have to sweat it out against high flying Leicester City who have lost just one game so far this season.

Klopp will have his selection issues with Martin Skrtel out for six months due to a hamstring injury but Dejan Lovren is expected to return from injury and will partner Sakho in defense. The biggest problem though for the manager will be to select the front line that will provide him with the goals. Benteke would be an obvious option in the wake of the failures from Firmino. Milner is still out injured while Can, Lucas and Henderson are expected to start for the home side. Here Is how they might line-up:

Formation: 4-3-2-1

Goal-Keeper:

Simon Mignolet:

The Belgian shot stopper missed the game against Watford but will be back for this game against Leicester City.

Defense:

Nathaniel Clyne:

One of the most consistent defenders in the league, Clyne will hope to negate the dangers of the Leicester City front line on Boxing Day.

Dejan Lovren:

A timely recovery for Lovren will see him slot into the center back position straight away in this game against the Foxes.

Mamadou Sakho:

Sakho looked shaky after he was back from injury but will get better as he plays more games for the club.

Alberto Moreno:

The lively Spaniard has been an ever available presence on the field for the club and will start again at Anfield.

Mid-field:

Lucas Leiva:

The Brazilian mid-fielder has made the most tackles in the Premier League this season and is an important part of the Red’s defense in the recent past.

Emre Can:

The German is one of the first names on the team sheet for Liverpool and will play on the right side of mid-field three on Saturday.

Jordan Henderson:

The skipper was one of the players who gave his all even in Watford’s game and will try to rally his team to all three points against the Foxes.

Adam Lallana:

The English mid-fielder has been a completely revitalized player under Jurgen Klopp and will retain his place in the starting XI for this game.

Phillipe Coutinho:

The little Brazilian has not had a great time in the last few games but is one of the best players in the Liverpool squad and will start from the right on Saturday.

Attack:

Christian Benteke:

Liverpool lacked a focal point in the 3-0 loss to Watford and will use Christian Benteke to try and shake Leicester’s defense.

Divock Origi has done no harm to his reputation an might be given a start while Adam Lallana may also be dropped to bring in Jordan Ibe an winger who has impressed many this season. Firmino has not been in good form but if the manager wants more attacking options he might push Can and Henderson back and drop Lucas Leiva to bring in FirminoHere is another alternative way for Klopp to approach this game:

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Mignolet; Clyne, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno; Can, Henderson; Ibe, Coutinho, Firmino; Origi
