According to the reports in Turkey, Inter Milan defender Caner Erkin could leave the club this summer despite joining the Italian outfit a few weeks ago.
The 27-year old has moved to Inter Milan from Turkish giants Fenerbahce despite interest from Liverpool. But the Turkish international is apparently keen to leave the Italian club.
Liverpool are in the market to sign a new left-back as defender Alberto Moreno is not in prime form drawing criticism with his performance for the Reds this season.
Jurgen Klopp is willing to make one more signing before the transfer window closes. The Reds have been linked with the likes of Fabio Coentrao, Jonas Hector, Shkodran Mustafi and many others over the course of the transfer window.
But the 27-year old Turkish defender looks like the cheap and real option available in the market for the Reds. The player’s agent Altiparmak told Turkish outlet Sporx that his client has no problem in relocating to a new club for the second time this summer and admitted he has offers from England.
Altiparmak told Sporx: “Caner could stay at Inter or he could go.
“We currently have three options: he could stay at Inter and fight for his place. The second option is to stay in Italy or go to another European country. The third is going back to a Turkish team. Everything will be decided in 48 hours.
“We haven’t met with any team in Turkey. We have three offers from Spain and England though, they came to us and to the club.”
