Liverpool Manager Gives His Players A Hilarious Warning Ahead Of The January Transfer Window

With yet another comfortable victory, this time over Stoke City in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool is staying as close as they can to their counterparts from London at the Stamford Bridge.

The German manager will be happy with his team’s performances this season and will hope that they can keep up the good work until the end of the season. However, with the January transfer window coming up, Klopp will surely look to add a few players to his squad.

A number of star players have been linked with a move to Anfield which might see Klopp sell a few players from the team in January.

Though there are not many players who are under-performing at the club at the moment, the German manager has now revealed what will make him sell a player away from the club.

In a Q & A with the Liverpool Echo, Klopp spoke about a lot of things that have changed at the club since his move to Anfield.

In his time at the club, Klopp has seen one of the best games ever played at Anfield, on that night against Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League and has also given the fans plenty of other moments to cherish over the year and a half.

One moment that will stay fresh in the memories of the fans of the club was the dramatic 5-4 victory over Norwich City in January this year.

The Reds were cruising at the Carrow Road early in the game but late drama in the game saw Norwich level the score in extra time.

But that was not the end of the game as English midfielder Adam Lallana punched in a late, late winner, to give his side all three points.

It was an iconic moment for the Reds just months after their new manager took charge as they saw the entire team celebrate on the shoulders of the manager.

Adam Lallana was seen jumping over Klopp while the whole team followed and these celebrations saw Jurgen Klopp break his glasses.

Speaking to the Echo about this incident, Klopp revealed that it was actually Christian Benteke who broke the glasses and went on to joke about why he was sold.

Klopp said, “They were absolutely broken! In the picture, I have them in my hands.

“It was Christian Benteke who did it. So don’t kill my glasses or otherwise you will be sold!

The Liverpool manager showed his jovial side on the interview throughout and also went on to explain how he felt during this game.

He went on to say, “It was a wonderful experience, that game at Norwich.

“It showed a lot about the boys and a lot about the spirit in the team we had after four months working together. That was a nice highlight.”

The German’s methods are already having an impact on the Premier League and add to it his charisma with the media, Klopp is definitely one of the most loved football managers in Europe.
