Premier League outfit Liverpool have been doing really well in all competitions since the arrival of new manager Jurgen Klopp at Anfield and it seems that the German manager has now made Barcelona outcast Cristian Tello, as one of his primary targets for the upcoming transfer window. The Reds are looking to strengthen their current squad and will look to sign a few more players in January, as per claims by Spanish publication El Mundo Deportivo. The 24-year-old forward at present has been sent away on loan to Portuguese giants FC Porto for a two and half year spell, but the Merseyside club could be signed on a permanent basis for a fee of around £9m.

However, it does not seem that the deal will really happen as Porto don’t seem too keen on paying the amount to keep him with them, which would mean that Liverpool can surely take their chances to letting this move happen.

Further, the low fee for the young attacker would attract the former Borussia Dortmund manager, who will look to add more flare to his squad in the new year.

Tello has once again been impressive for Porto in the current campaign, though he has managed to score just twice in 11 appearances in the Portuguese top flight.

Liverpool have been in the hunt to acquire his services for quite some time now and it now seems that a deal could go through in the near future with Klopp really keen on pushing a deal through.
