Liverpool is all set sign a contract with 29 years old England and Manchester City midfielder James Milner. Milner will ready for signing the deal when his present contract with Man City expires on July 1.
Milner has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and the League cup during his five years at City. The 53 England caps holder has eight goals to his credit for City last season.
Milner was brought to Man City by then coach Roberto Manicini in 2010 from Aston Villa on a deal worth £26m. Since 2010 he appeared in blue for 125 times and scored 18 goals. Last season he played 24 times and provided seven goal producing assists as city finished second to Chelsea in the Premier League Chart.
The midfielder started off his Premier League career for Leeds United back in 2002 at the age of 16. Later, he played for Newcastle United before being bought by New Castle United.
