The Mario Balotelli saga at Liverpool has taken a new twist as according to reports in Football Italia, the out of favour striker has been proposed to city rivals Everton by his agent Mino Raiola.
Everton are trying to bring Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini at the Goodison Park but reports are suggesting that if the move fails to materialise they will move for Balotelli.
The Italy international has been left in the cold by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and the German has publicly said that the former Milan and Manchester City striker does not feature in his plans for the coming season as he looks to rebuild the Liverpool team and the Reds are desperate to off-load him.
The 26-year Old spent last season on loan at AC Milan after failing to impress at Anfield where he could score only 4 goals in his debut season. And his poor performance continued at San Siro too.
Several clubs across Europe have already rejected the Liverpool outcast with Italian club Sassuolo being the latest to do so.
