Liverpool are the Premier League’s only unbeaten side since the turn of the year and Saturday’s excellent win over Manchester City served further notice of their intent as serious players in the race for Champions League football next season.

This match will be a very different test for Brendan Rodgers’ in-form team though. Whereas City came to play and take them on toe-to-toe, Burnley will look to deny time and space and, on their day, are more than capable of making life difficult for the top sides.

Liverpool’s Starting 11 –

Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Lovren, Henderson, Allen, Moreno, Lallana, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge

Subs –

Ward, Johnson, Toure, Lambert, Balotelli, Williams, Markovic

Burnely starting 11 –

Heaton; Trippier, Keane, Shackell (c), Mee; Kightly, Jones, Arfield, Boyd; Barnes, Ings.

Subs –

Gilks, Duff, Vokes, Wallace, Reid, Jutkiewicz, Ward
