Arsenal fans have been sick of Manchester City signing their players in recent years. The list is endless with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Kolo Toure and more recently Bacry Sagna joined the Etihad club.

Arsenal fans are in for more bad news as it was reported earlier today that City are planning a £45 million raid on Arsenal’s top most striker target Alvaro Morata from Juventus. Morrata has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer but as it stands, City are in pole position to sign the talented Spanish striker.

Morata, who scored on his International debut during Spain’s Euro 2016 campaign. The Juventus striker has been linked with a summer move away from the club and City lead the race for his signature at the moment.

Arsenal have Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck as the main strikers but Arsene Wenger is believed to be on the hunt for an out-and-out striker who can bring the X factor to Arsenal’s play and Morata with his age and ability is seen as the best option available for Wenger but it seems Wenger is certain to surrender yet another player to the hands of Man City.

Juventus’s decision to sell Morata will depend on Juventus signing a striker in the summer. Edin Dzeko and Radamel Falcao have been the names suggested with a move to the Italian club and arrival of either of the striker would mean an exit for Alvaro Morata.
