Manchester City predicted line-up for Champions League tie

Manchester City will hope to get back their season on track as they travel to Ukraine to take on Dynamo kyiv in the Round-16 of the UEFA Champions League. Both teams are living the contrasting fortunes, with the Ukrainian outfit enjoying a win streak of five games, while Manchester City have lost all of their last three games.

Manuel Pellegrini will have a tough task in fielding a starting eleven, with Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy, Kevin De Bruyne, Wilfred Bony, Eliaquim Mangala, Fabian Delph and Bacry Sagna all are sidelined due to their respective injuries.

Pellegrini is expected to start the game with 4-2-3-1 formation with Aguero to lead the City attack. Here is how the team will line-up against Dynamo Kyiv

GOALKEEPER

Joe Hart–  The goalkeeper will be deployed between the posts and will be keen to keep Andriy Yarmolenko and company at bay.

Vincent Kompany– The steel and composure of Manchester City defender will be key for their Champions league hope, and is sure to feature provided he was rested in the club’s clash against Chelsea.

Gael Clichy– Kolarov will be overlooked and Clichy will start as the left-back and will try to improve from his last outing against Tottenham, which saw his side conceded twice.

MIDFIELDERS

Fernando– He is an imperative defensive prospect in front of the defenders, and his effective tackles will be needed to safeguard the defence.

Fernandinho– The midfielder’s prowess to break the game of opponents and win back the ball will see him starting the game.

Yaya Toure– The Ivory Coast international has failed to emulate the form of his old days, but will fill the most important spot in the Manchester City line-up.

Raheem Sterling– The youngster will try to kick-start his season, and will be keen to improve on his form against Dynamo Kyiv.

David Silva– The Spaniard will have to be at his improvise-best to lock the shut-out defence of the Ukrainian side.

FORWARD

Sergio Ageuro– He will spearhead the attack of Manchester City and the further expedition of Manchester City in this Champions League will depend on his form in front of goal.
