As per the latest reports, Real madrid star defender Sergio Ramos has put contract talks on hold as he is willing to move away from Santiago Bernabeu this summer. The 29-year old is reportedly frustrated with his wages as he wants a substantial increase.
The Spanish international is one of the finest centre backs in the world and Manchester United are in the market for a quality centre back this summer. Ramos agent and his brother Rene Ramos recently said that he will move to another club before retirement.
He said, “Perhaps it is best if he doesn’t finish at Real Madrid or Sevilla, but at another club. We never know. Football is changing so fast, you must enjoy the moment.”
Louis van Gaal wants to sign the defender as he is highly unsettled at Madrid at the moment and the fact that Carlo Ancelotti getting sacked despite the support of the players.
Sergio Ramos has joined Real Madrid back in 2005 from Sevilla and has played 445 games for the Spanish giants since then. He is considered a club legend at Los Blancos as he has won the UEFA Champions League once, the Copa del Rey twice, and the La Liga three times since joining Real Madrid.
