Manchester United fans have been handed the worse possible news by their own TV Channel MUTV about the future of their star goal keeper David De Gea.

In a talk show last night, Daniel Taylor (Chief football writer for Guardian) broke the news about De Gea being in advance discussions with Real Madrid to join the European champions next season.

This news has ended every hopes of United holding on to their most prized asset for any longer. De Gea has turned in to one of the world’s best goal keepers during his 4 years at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid have been tracking De Gea for some time now and finally have gained a massive momentum in finding a key replacement for Iker Casillas.

Daniel Taylor has worked with the biggest premier league clubs over the years and often provides with crucial transfer updates before any other news tabloid in British media. Taylor’s revelations have dampened hopes of United hanging on to De Gea for coming seasons.

Manchester United now must force Real Madrid’s hands and concentrate on getting the maximum value from De Gea’s sale. United have been previously hinted on including Gareth Bale in the deal which will see De Gea make a switch to Real Madrid.

Either a cut-price deal including Bale or a transfer fee of over £40 million must be Van Gaal’s key focus when it comes to De Gea this summer and look for an able replacement for the best goal keeper in the Premier League.
