As per ESPN, Manchester United have taken the non-league’s hottest property Sam Grimshow on a one week trial, who has attracted interest from all corners of the English football.
Grimshaw spent his 9 years of his junior football career at Manchester City but could not establish himself as a professional footballer.
Since moving on from City, Grimshaw has impressed everyone in North West Counties League side Glossop North End this season. Man United have made quickly than any other side and have snapped up the highly rated youngster.
ESPN have confirmed that, Grimshaw’s biggest strength is his speed and in an official report it is confirmed that Sam Grimshaw can run 100 meters in under 11 seconds.
Ideally using his speed, Grimshaw prefers to play in the left back or left wing role and his inclusion can add unmatched speed to United’s ranks.
Grimshaw is due to spend his next week training among the United reserves and U-21 side. Various coaches will keep a close eye on his developments and if he impresses win his time at United, Grimshaw is expected to be handed out the contract with Premier League side.
