English giants Manchester United have begun looking for potential signings for the January transfer window. The team is currently 3rd on the league and seems to be having a not so good time with the results. The draws have been annoying as the team often has possession in the games and yet fails to convert it into a win. Changes need to be made in the team to have a better outcome from the games. As a result, the club is already looking for players whom they have on their shopping list. Latest rumour has it that the mighty Manchester United is behind Borja Valero Iglesias of Fiorentina.
Manchester United is believed to have kept close tabs on the player as United boss Louis van Gaal sent chief scout Peter Braund to take a look at the midfielder’s performance. The ex West Brom player seems to have attracted LvG as the boss really wishes to get the deal done for the Fiorentina player. Valero has previously played in England for West Brom and he didn’t have a good spell, then. Getting him back again in the league could be a risky move for the team from Manchester.
Valero is most well known for his key passes. His strengths include successful passing, through balls and set pieces. His game style mainly includes doing layoffs and not diving into tackles. Valero prefers playing short passes. It is believed that he is also being aimed by Southampton. And a move to St. Mary’s looks more probable in this situation for the 30 year old Spaniard.
