Manchester United’s squad ahead of the next season has started to take shape as earlier today their latest signings Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin were unveiled in front of the media.

Having captured the midfield generals, next step for Louis Van Gaal and his men are to head over to United States for their pre-season tour. The squad is set to leave Manchester airport on Monday afternoon bound for Seattle on America’s West Coast

United’s first pre-season game will kick off on Friday, July 17 against Club America. The game, at CenturyLink Field.

Following that Manchester United play San Jose Earthquakes on July 21, followed by Barcelona on 25th July and against PSG on July 29.

Manchester United players sounded excited ahead of the pre-season tour and were determined to do well.

Manager Louis Van Gaal has named a 26-men squad ahead of United’ pre-season tour. Surprise omissions are Goal Keeper victor Valdes and full-back Rafael. Both have been linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent weeks.

Club will be led by Wayne Rooney along with the new signings Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Matteo Darmian, Morgan Schneiderlin.

Elsewhere, Argentine duo of Marcos Rojo and Angel Di Maria have been rested because of their Copa America campaign following last season of the Premier League.
