Borussia Dortmund in advanced talks to sign Adnan Januzaj on loan from Manchester United, according to Sky Sports.
The midfielder also attracted interests from Everton and Tottenham, Marseille and Valencia according to Sky Sports.
Adnan Januzaj had been tipped to move throughout the summer for getting first team football, but Sunderland’s attempts to get the wonder kid on loan was rejected by Louis van Gaal.
After having a breakthrough to the first team during David Moyes’ reign at Old Trafford, the promising midfielder saw his game time largely reduced after the arrival of Louis van Gaal.
He played as a number 10 this season before getting injured and scored one goal.
But despite scoring the goal, he was criticised by the manager for losing the ball too often.
Januzaj’s agent had told the media when journalists asked Dirk De Vriese this summer about reports of Januzaj leaving, he said, “This is total nonsense. Adnan is feeling good at Manchester United and they don’t want him to leave the club, he is considered still as their biggest talent since many years. There were a lot of top teams asking to buy him and a lot of sub-top teams to loan him, but he will stay at Manchester United to become a legend in the club.”
But German newspaper Bild reported interest from Borussia Dortmund few days ago.
But Manchester United will lack squad depth if Januzaj leaves on loan and they do not have enough time to recover it. Over the frustration this summer for missing out on Pedro and getting ridiculously linked with superstars like Muller, Bale and Neymar, they failed to land anyone of the attackers.
With Rooney struggling for goals, they lack a striker and if JAnuzaj moves they will also lack quality and quantity wise at attacking midfield.
