Manchester United have been given fresh hopes of signing the Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi after his current club Valencia have approached Eziquiel Garay to replace his international team mate.
Caught Offside earlier today revealed a suspicious picture of Garay boarding a private plane to Spain where he is thought to be signing for the la Liga side.
Garay recently moved to the Russian Side Zenit St Petersburgh, however, the Argentine isn’t happy from life in Russia and is keen to seal a move to either Spain or England.
Ironically, garay has been labelled as a long-term target for Manchester United and was set to move to Old Trafford last summer before deciding to say YES to the Russian offer.
Garay is easily available for a fee close to £14million and Valencia could make a lot of profit of Otamendi’s sale to United and get a solid center back to replace him.
According to Marca, Otamendi is eager to join the Red Devils and his agent is trying very hard to lower down his asking fee by Valencia.
The La Liga side are adamant of demanding a £35million release clause amount to sell the defender which is the only stumbling block between Man United and Otamendi.
