According to the latest reports from Express, Manchester United are ready to sign AS Roma play maker Miralem Pjanic this summer. The 25-year joined Roma back in 2011 and has developed in to one of the finest play makers in Italy.

The Bosnian international is a long standing target of Liverpool as the Reds have been scouting the player for the last two seasons. The Reds are looking to sign the midfielder as a replacement for Stevan Gerrard.

Along with Liverpool, French giants PSG are also interested to sign the midfielder as they are looking for to replace Arsenal and Southampton target Yohan Cabaye as he is expected to leave the club in the upcoming days.

 

The Red Devils are the latest to join the race to sign Pjanic as they are looking to sign a quality central midfielder this summer. Pjanic have also drawn interest from Atletico Madrid as they are keen to seek a replacement for outgoing Arda turan.

Despite all the interest from the big clubs, Roma are keen to hold on thier star midfielder as they have slapped a £32m price tag on the 25-year old. Pjanic have made 34 appearences for Roma in Serie A last season and have scored5 goals and assisted 10 more.

The player is the key to Roma’s midfield and the club will be reluctant to sell their prized possession. However, with the financial muscle that both Manchester United and PSG have might force the deal through.
