Manchester United take on a weak Sunderland side for an important game week 7 encounter on Saturday evening.

The Red Devils are currently comfortably placed at the second position in the league table with 13 points from the first 6 games. They have started their campaign this season strongly and looks compact in their approach. Manchester United are strong title contenders.

Sunderland are struggling at the rock bottom position in the league table as they are yet to win a match untill now. Dick Advocat has been criticised heavily for the team’s performance and he might get the boot soon if the situation does not improve for the Black cats.

Here is the predicted lineup for Manchester United:

Goalkeeper: David De Gea

David De Gea will be selected ahead of Sergio Romero under the United. Since this month, De Gea has made a comeback to the United squad and also signed a four-year contract extension with the club. With the Spaniard in the squad, Louis van Gaal would not have a second thought.

Defenders: Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind

Marcos Rojo is likely to replace an injured Luke Shaw in the starting lineup. Luke Shaw who picked up a deadly injury this week against PSV after Hector Moreno pulled off a hard tackle on the English youngster. Rojo will be fielded as a center back and Daley Blind will be shifted to left full-back position.

Midfielders: Michael Carrick, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay

The midfield setup will more or less remain the same which started against Southampton last weekend. The only notable change will be the inclusion of Wayne Rooney in the number 10 position just behind Anthony Martial.

Striker: Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial is likely to start as the front striker. The youth sensation is in tantalizing form this season and has already scored four goals. Manchester United will heavily bank on Anthony Martial.
