According to the latest reports fro England, Liverpool wants to off-load their out-of-favour striker Mario Balotelli whom they purchased as a replacement for Luiz Suarez this summer.
Having scored only 1 league goal throughout the season, the former Milan player is expected to leave Anfield this summer as the club management are considering to off load him. The news have made Italian outfit Sampdoria and MLS based Orlando City on red alert as they are waiting to seek his services for the next season.
WIth the penalty row over Henderson, Balotelli also got the bad boy image in Reds supporters and Steven Gerrard publicly admitted that the striker’s act as “disrespectful”. This also led to speculations that Liverpool are set to sell the striker irrespective of his performance as the team integrity might get affected.
Liverpool are also happy to off-load the striker for lesser amount than they spent on him the last summer. According to various reports, they already started scouting possible targets to replace the Italian striker.
Since going to USA for MLS at such an young age is not a possible destination for the striker, he might opt to go back to Italy and play for Sampdoria for much more competition and to stay in contention to play for Italy at international stage.
