As the international break ends the Premier League returns to see the two big giants in the English football face each other at the Emirates stadium on Saturday.
Manchester United are on the seventh position in the English Premier League and are only one point behind Arsenal who are on the sixth position.
Both the teams have shown an awful form so far in the season and the recent injury crisis for both the team has hindered their game.
This is Louis Van Gaal first visit to the Emirates Stadium as Manchester United’s manager. Gunners last season couldn’t score against Manchester United and Arsene Wenger will try to win all the valuable three points by ruining the Dutchmen’s first trip to Emirates.

Manchester United are going through a major injury crisis as many first team players return from injury remains doubtful.
United’s first choice keeper David De Gea is confident to return for Saturday’s match following a hand injury he suffered during Spain’s training session.
Phil Jones who hasn’t played once for Manchester United since August is not sure to be featuring against the Gunners due to shin splits injury. Argentinian Marco Rojo is also out due to shoulder injury for at least December. Even Jonny Evans will be unlikely to start the game due to his absence from the last six games.
Antonio Valencia if fit can start against Arsenal at right back. Rafael is also hoped to return after missing previous two games for the Red Devils.
The X-Ray report of Di Maria’s foot will decide whether he will be fit to start the match, the Argentine got injured on international duty. Holland international Daley Blind is out for six months and will miss out the game, Blind got injured while playing for Netherland against Latvia and has only appeared for 90 minutes for Manchester United.
Radamel Falcao’s start is highly doubted and he can be side-lined due to calf injury. Jesse Lingard is ruled out due to leg injury and Ashley Young is also a doubt to start.

Arsene Wenger’s side hasn’t performed much this season. Arsenal are on 6th position in the league and didn’t show much consistency in the first eleven games of the season.
Wojciech Szczęsny will start the match as goalkeeper David Ospina is again injured.
From the past five league matches Wenger is left with only four experience defenders since Laurent Koscielny and Mathieu Debucy are side-lined. Calum Chambers, Nacho Monreal, Per Mertesacker and Kieran Gibbs have managed to defend two clean sheets in last three league games.
Serge Gnabry who has been side-lined from a long time will be lacking match fitness. German playmaker Mesut Ozil is injured for long term and Diaby is injured too. Arteta who missed the defeat of Gunners at Swansea should be fit start. Theo Walcott who didn’t have his first start since is hoped to start against Manchester United.
Ex- Manchester United player Danny Welbeck is in good form after scoring two goals for England last weekend and is hoped to start against the former club first time and Giroud will not be returning due to an injury.
Manchester United possible playing XI
Since major defence players are side-lined due to injury who will start depends on who is fit. Tyler Blackett who is left footed centre back can be preferred over Paddy McNair since Van Gaal is keen to play a left footed player inside left back. Michael Carrick is hoped to play ahead of the defence since Holland international Daley Blind is injured. Marouane Fellaini due to his physical presence could start in the midfield.
Arsenal possible playing XI
Gibbs, Monreal, Mertesacker and Chambers could start as back four for the sixth consecutive game against Manchester United. In form Jack Wilshere could be preferred over Mathieu Falmini to replace Mikel Arteta if the captain is not fit to play. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlin can start on the right wing since Theo Walcott has just returned from injury.

Welbeck has scored 5 times for Arsenal after he moved to Emirates stadium from Manchester United. The former Arsenal player Van Persie has scored 3 goals for Manchester United so far. Welbeck has scored twice in the Premier League and rest three in Europe. Welbeck has also created more chances for team-mates with a total of two assists whereas Van Persie has none in this season.
Alexis Sanchez vs Michael Carrick
Alexis has shown great form since the move to Emirates stadium. The Chilean playmaker is known for his pace and remarkable runs and will be able to pass Michael Carrick who has just recovered from injury. Using Fellaini to stop Alexis down can be a good tactic by Van Gaal.
Angel Di Maria vs Calum Chambers
The British transfer record signing Angel Di Maria has been in good form in previous matches for Manchester United and can turn the match around in favour of United. Chambers is likely to go up and down during the match and is also known for his fouls and getting booked. Calum has picked up 6 yellow cards in previous ten Premier League games. Di Maria can be expected to play well in open an deliver some good balls inside the box.
Arsene Wenger side last season was one of the three teams that didn’t score against David Moyes Manchester United. Arsenal lost to Manchester United by 1-0 at Old Trafford after the ex- Gunner Robin Van Persie scored in the 27th minute even when Arsenal had 59% ball possession and had more on shots by 10-5 but only managed to shoot only two times on target. The Gunners again had to go empty handed in February with a scoreless draw against Manchester United with 63% ball possession and couldn’t get pass David De Gea even afer hitting the target 5 times out of 17 shots.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United
Both the English giants have major injury crisis with many key players side-lined. The main strength of Arsenal and Manchester United is in their attack, since in the previous season there was just one goal in both the matches between them. A score line with goals can be expected. Arsenal are having home advantage over the visitors when they meet on Saturday.
